All our animals are super sweet
Goat, Nigerian Dwarf, Doe (female) | Buckskin with random white
Nora is a stunning buckskin doe with random white markings that give her a look all her own. Disbudded, registered, and just one year old, she is already proving herself to be one of the most exciting young does in our herd at Shenandoah Highlands.Despite her young age Nora has already had her first freshening — producing three beautiful kids and demonstrating that she is not only a natural mother but an exceptional milker as well. That kind of early production from a first freshener is a wonderful sign of things to come, and we could not be more impressed with how she has stepped up.Beyond her production Nora is simply a joy to be around — super sweet, easy to handle, and exactly the kind of doe that makes barn chores something to look forward to. She is a perfect example of everything we value in our Nigerian Dwarf program at Shenandoah Highlands.Nora is currently open and will be bred to our herd sire Leo — a dark brown buck with tan moon spots and blue eyes. The combination of her beautiful buckskin and white coloring with Leo's moon spots and blue eyes has us very excited about what her next kidding will bring.Nora is not for sale and will remain with us — but keep an eye out for her kids in the coming season. We expect them to be absolutely beautiful.
